Henry Senyak appointed to TWDC Board of Trustees

(Plain Press, September 2009) Ward 14 Tremont activist Henry Senyak was appointed by the Tremont West Development Corp.'s (TWDC) Board of Directors to fill a vacant seat left by the recent resignation of Sandy Smith. On August 20, 2009, Board President Tom Cook with nine voting members present moved to dispensed the deliberations and get on with the election. Immediately following the ballot count, Senyak was given the go ahead to move from his seat against the wall to occupy the empty leather-backed chair and join the rank and file of TWDC's top dogs.
Senyak is widely known for his resident oriented community work including assisting Cleveland Public Power in locating and repairing hundreds of streetlights through out the Tremont area. Senyak serves as co-chair of the Lincoln Heights/Scranton-Starkweather Block Club.
Senyak was also instrumental in assisting the Traffic Engineer Dept. Commissioner Rob Mavec and Ward 13 Councilman Joe Cimperman in identifying and marking locations for proper street sign and parking regulator posting replacements following the Tremont Parking problem raises safety concerns article in the April Issue of the Plain Press.
Senyak serves as a member of a Cleveland City Council initiated Ad Hoc Committee. The Committee is charged with reviewing City of Cleveland Ordinances related to Entertainment, Amusement, Zoning Districts, Noise Ordnances, and Licensing procedures for liquor establishments.
