Community Partners for Affordable Accessible Health Care members
to work for health care access

(Plain Press, April 2010) CPAAHC, or Community Partners for Affordable Accessible Health Care, is an advocacy group started in Tremont through Merrick House. CPAAHC works on the issues surrounding community members’ ability to reasonably obtain health care services. In the past, our focus has been on Metro Hospital, but if you are interested in health care issues, or have had any problems with your ability to gain health care services, feel free to contact us.

You are welcomed to join CPAAHC and fight for access to health care. We will gladly work with you and other members of the community to effectively deal with any problems, such as: Access to a doctor; Ability to pay for prescription medicines; Transportation to/from doctor's office or hospital; Issues with co-pays or the Rating System; and any other issues important to you and the community.

If you want to join our cause, or have any questions, please feel free to contact Merrick House’s Community Organizer, Michael Cook, at 216-771-5077 x131, or visit us on the web at www.merrickhouse.org/cpaahc.
